Cake Doughnuts
Method
Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 25 minutes
Servings: 12 Doughnuts
Ingredients:
400g Self Raising Flour
½ tsp Salt / dash Nutmeg
2 Eggs
150g Sugar
dash Vanilla Extract
100ml Milk
40g Butter
1. Combine flour, salt & nutmeg in a large mixing bowl.
2. Beat together the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract with a mixer in a separate mixing bowl, until the mixture is thick and light yellow in color from the eggs.
3. Add the flour mixture little by little into the egg and sugar mixture, alternating with milk and melted butter until all the ingredients are combined. Use a 100ml cup of milk and 40g butter.
180C Fan
(25 minutes)
4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
Let it rest for a full 30 mins If you want it to thicken enough to create a soft dough that you can roll.
Then roll the dough & put in silicon doughnut moulds & bake for 25 mins.
